Cheongsudang Café is a beautiful Hanok style Cafe in Ikseongdong.

We had their signature chiffon cake and traditional Korean Yakgwa. Yakgwa is a traditional Korean pastry made of deep-fried, wheat-based dough flavored with sesame oil, honey, ginger, and rice wine. “Yak” translates to medicine, and “gwa” to confection. Historically, it was considered a medicinal treat because honey was highly valued for its health-restoring properties.
