The interesting bit about this tomb (finished in 1867) is that it was the emperor’s summer palace known as Khiem palace. He loved it so much that he decided to be buried there and it became Khiem tomb after he died. As it was his summer palace it has its own lake and summerhouses on the grounds. As well as the tombs of the emperor and the queen. It’s a really lovely place, still more a summer house feeling and not so much a tomb.
Das Interessante an diesem Mausoleum (1867 fertiggestellt) ist, dass es ursprünglich das Sommerpalast des Emperors war mit dem Namen Khiem Palace. Er liebte dieses Sommerhazs so sehr, dass er sich dort begraben lies. So wurde nach seinem Tod aus Khiem Palace das Khiem Mausoleum. Da es ursprünglich der Sommerpalast war sind ein See und einige Sommerhäuser auf dem Gelände und auch die zwei Grabmähler des Emperor und der Königin. Es ist ein schöner Ort, mit mehr Sommerhaus Idylle als die eines Mausoleums.
