We left our tiny little Trat Island Koh Chang and started to drive in the direction of Bangkok. We stopped in Pattaya to break the journey. When we first arrived we wanted to leave again immediately. To much traffic, people, shops, entertainment and everything. But we decided to take it for what it is, a major city by the sea – like Las Vegas by the sea. Starts to glitter in the night, shopping and Pool or do one of the many attractions during the day. An option to fill our stocks before Laos and send our first parcel home. Never been to Pattaya before and I am glad this time we had the time and the opportunity to see it with our own eyes. We’ll definitely rather retire in Hua Hin. 😂
Wir haben gestern unsere kleine Insel in Trat Koh Chang verlassen und sind auf dem Weg Richtung Bangkok. Auf dem Weg dorthin stoppen wir ein paar Tage in Pattaya. Als wir angekommen sind wollten wir gleich wieder weg. 😂Zu viel Verkehr, Menschen, Shops und Unterhaltungsangebote, zu viel von Allem. Aber wir haben uns entschieden wir nehmen die Stadt wie sie ist, eine Großstadt am Meer – wie Las Vegas am Meer. Die Stadt leuchtet in der Nacht und am Tag kann man shoppen oder an den Pool oder eines der vielen Unterhaltungsangebote annehmen. Eine Chance unsere Vorräte wieder aufzufüllen bevor wir nach Laos fliegen und Zeit unser erstes Paket Richtung Heimat zu senden. Ich war noch nie zuvor in Pattaya und bin froh, dass wir diesmal die Zeit und die Möglichkeit hatten hier ein paar Tage zu stoppen und die Stadt mit eigenen Augen zu sehen und zu beurteilen. Wir werden definitiv lieber in Hua Hin in Rente wohnen. 😂
